Project Overview

Commissioned by author Katherine Bird, I set out to bring her book’s transformative themes to life through illustrations that would deepen readers’ understanding and connection to their own healing journeys. Immersing myself in the book’s message, I read each section and translated complex ideas into raw, honest visuals that captured the beauty and vulnerability of personal growth. My role extended beyond illustration—I guided the book’s production and art direction, helping select fonts, style pages, locate a book designer, and provide support through the challenges of self-publishing.
