Hello, I’m Janelle. 

My dream to live and exist as an artist started when I saw a Frida Kahlo exhibit when I was 8 years old. Walking the halls alone, peering into her strange, rich, vibrant inner world sparked something in me as a sensitive neurodivergent kid. I wanted to create and express my inner world too. 

Following my own path has taken me from art school in Tasmania to designing for brands and retailers like Target, Urban Outfitters, and Lost. I’ve illustrated and done visual branding for shamanic practitioners and soup makers. Mentored at-risk teenagers in finding their artistic voice. Designed a nonprofit's warehouse headquarters, sharing their 25-year history throughout their environment. The core thread running through it all is listening to the truth within things, and a desire to create and heal with art + design. To stay out of the head, and into the heart. 

Currently I work with Inclusion Warriors — helping Neurodivergent adults with art and their microbusinesses and brands — and ArtForce, which builds programs and partnerships that turn creativity into opportunity. I create and write, and help guide people to the truth within.
