Creative Process

I developed a playful brand feel inspired by childhood iconography and a paint-splattered cupcake pan I noticed in their headquarters, which became the basis for the color palette and background elements.

Project Overview/Approach
Leela and Derek Adams had just left intense corporate jobs to launch their dream cottage bakery and asked me to develop their visual branding. I loved their story of following their hearts and wanted to capture that magical feeling. They create out-of-the-box confectionary creations—little escapes from the everyday—so we focused on highlighting the artisanal, special quality of their goods.
